The school was built on its attractive site in 1938 and has 4 main classrooms. Each of the classrooms is well resourced with supplementary shared resources around the school. We have a library area with a good range of non-fiction and fiction books.

There is a large field for sporting activities and a hall which is used for dining, assemblies, music, drama and some PE sessions.

Lydden School offers an attractive and stimulating rural environment including a woodland garden with an outside classroom, a forest school area, pond area and a well-resourced outdoor Early Years area and adventure play areas.
