This Term's Learning

This term in English we will be exploring the stories "The Storm Whale" by Benji Davies, "The Owl and The Pussycat" by Edward Lear and "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". We will also be learning how to write poems exploring alliteration and synonyms. 

In Maths this term, we will be exploring place value within 100 as well as extending our knowledge of 2-D and 3-D shapes.

In Science this term, the children will be learning to identify and describe the basic structure of a variety of common flowering plants, including trees.

In History this term we have been learning about events within our living memory. The children have been enjoying learning about how our local community has changed within the last 70 years!
