Year 1 and 2

Welcome back to what is going to be a brilliant year at Lydden!

After what has been a very hot summer, I am sure you are all very excited to come back to school and start our school year. This year you will be taught by Mrs Poore with Mrs Grimes and Mrs Annakie as your Teaching Assistants. 

We are so excited to continue our child led approach to learning. Our trial went brilliantly last year and we look forward to developing this even more.

Our class is named after Lewis Carroll, author of may well-loved stories such as 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass'. The quote we have on our classroom door summerises our class perfectly.

P.E. will be on a Monday with Mrs Salisbury and Wednesday with Mrs Poore so don't forget to bring in your P.E. kits for some animal gymnastics.
