How is your exercise and staying active going this week? I have been out about running and walking and have clocked up 87.1km! Need to get to 100km by Friday 15th then I'm half way to completing my challenge! Keep going with your challenge - you can do it!

Play a modified game of Rapid Fire Cricket. You need
A cricket bat, 3 balls, Markers
Place the balls on the markers Set out 2 markers for batsman to run between.
Batsman to hit the 3 balls (Fielders must stand still

balls on markers. Batsman run between marked area

counting how many runs scored. Swap around.

Play Tic-tac-toe Frisbee Make a tic-tac-toe

board on the ground using masking tape

or chalk, with the squares big enough for

a Frisbee/beanbag. Take turns with your

partner throwing the Frisbee/beanbag,

attempting to land it (mostly) in a square. If successful, mark your X or O in that square.

One of the  Foundation children at River has taken part in a virtual half marathon 13.1 mile run! What an achievement for someone with such little legs! So I thought I would share with you the information so that you could be part of this challenge too, or be brave and sign up to a marathon 26.2 miles!

Just a little thought this week...

Why don't you set yourself a challenge to complete a certain distance throughout the month of May, I have...

My goal is to complete 200km in May, either running or walking! I am going for a run in the mornings and a walk with my dog in the afternoon, go on you can do it! Decide on your distance, keep a record and enjoy!

Garden Boot Camp

Set up a rotation of boot camp stations.

  3. Shuttle runs (set up 5 cones) from start line run to 1st cone, back to start line, run to 2nd cone back to start line run to 3rd cone back to start line continue up to 5th cone
  4. Side-to-side shuffle place 2 cones 10 metres apart, stand in the middle, move to your right using a side shuffle touch the cone, move to your left, touch the cone.
  5. Skipping using a skipping rope what is your highest score when skipping without stopping!
  6. Figure of eight

Complete each station 5 mins. Record the amount you can do. Complete daily – challenge yourself to increase your score. Can you beat your parents?
