The Year 3 and 4 Performance Hut
In the year 3 and 4 Performance Hut we explored the poem The Sound Collector by Robert McGough. We discussed the poem, thinking about where and when the poem was being told. We also discussed the patterns, rhymes and rhythm of the poem. Through listening to Robert McGough we decided what a good poem would need and applied this to our own performances, by ensuring our voices were clear and had rhythm. We also added in musical instruments that matched the sound being collected in the poem.
You can listen to Rober McGough's version here:
But we think you'll enjoy listening to us share ours much more!
