Number and Place Value

In Maths this term, we will be learning about different types of measurement, such as length, width and capacity. We will be exploring non-unit measure, for example; how many beads fill the jug? How many cubes long is a table? How many footsteps wide is the classroom?

We will also be continuing with our learning of numbers 0 - 20 and starting to think about how to find the total, and what happens when you take things away.

Help us at home by:

* Encouraging us to count objects around us.

* Recognising numbers in our everyday environments (cereal packets, books, tv remotes)
