I hope you are all enjoying your learning at home. I am very proud of you all and I know that you are trying your best and are being persevering parrots. In Term 5 our class topic will be " Are we there yet?" Through this topic the children will investigate different types of transport in stories and create our own vehicles and bridges .We will be using stories and non fiction texts linked to transport to facilitate our learning. Have fun designing road maps and using vocabulary linked to transport and direction.
Children should use opportunities to develop their reading skills by looking for words in the world around them and playing word games such as pairs or snap.
Have a go at looking at numbers in the world round us.
We will send home a reading book each day with your child. Take time to share the book with your child asking questions about the story. This is a very valuable time encouraging children to further develop their love of books.
We will be doing PE on a Monday and a Thursday.
