Welcome to Rosa Park Class. the children have settled in very well and have made lots of new friends. We have had lots of fun exploring our new school. This term our topic is Will you be my friend? We will be learning about how to be a good friend and listening to stories about friendship. We will also think about what makes us special.
Children should use opportunities to develop their reading skills by looking for words in the world around them and playing word games such as pairs or snap.
Have a go at looking at numbers in the world round us.
We will send home a reading book on Tuesday and a Thursday for you to share with your child. Take time to share the book with your child asking questions about the story. This is a very valuable time encouraging children to further develop their love of books.
We will be doing PE on a Monday and a Thursday.
Please remember if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
