Welcome to our class page. What a wonderful first term! The children have settled into school life extremely we. In Term 2 our class topic will be " Why do squirrels hid their nuts?" Through this topic we will get to investigate different wildwood animals and hopefully be able to observe a few on a trip to the park. .We will be using stories and non fiction texts about Percy the Park Keeper to facilitate our learning. Have a look at the Topic link to find out more. We will be very active this term and take part in lots of activities exploring numbers and shapes.
Children should use opportunities to develop their reading skills by looking for words in the world around them and playing word games such as pairs or snap.
We will send home a reading book each day with your child. Take time to share the book with your child asking questions about the story. This is a very valuable time encouraging children to further develop their love of books.
We will be doing PE on a Monday and a Thursday.
