Snackwise Week

Next week School Council will be launching their project:




There will be lots of exciting competitions going on across the school to promote children eating healthy snacks. Many snacks that we now buy we think are healthier than they actually are! For example, did you know a Nutri-Grain bar has more sugar in it than a Cream Egg? Around half our sugar comes from unhealthy snacks and drinks.

It is important to have healthier snacks because eating too much sugar can make fat build up and make your teeth decay. Fruit and vegetables are always the best options for a snack!
