Welcome to our class page. This term our topic question is" What material is best for.....?" We will be using Fairy Tales to facilitate our learning. Have a look at the Topic link to find out more. In Numeracy we will counting forwards and backwards from different numbers, solving addition and subtraction word problems and discovering 2D and 3D shapes. In Literacy we will be creating our own fairy tale characters which will go on lots of adventures through stories, drama and music. Children can practise their reading skills by looking for words in the world around them and playing word games such as pairs or snap.
We will send home a reading book each day with your child. Take time to share the book with your child asking questions about the story. This is a very valuable time encouraging children to further develop their love of books.
